It is General Conference weekend and we had Alex's parents over for the Sunday morning session and Alex made us all crepes. They were delicious! I love when he cooks ;) His parents headed home and I suggested we take a drive somewhere, so we decided to drive to the Salt Flats since neither of us have ever been there. You pass the great Salt Lake and then there is a whole lot of desert for about an hour then you start seeing the salt. We made it all the way to the rest stop and got out to eat lunch and take some pictures! We just had my phone and our camera so we set it up on self timer. We were all amazed! It was So gorgeous!

The last picture makes me laugh because this is us trying to jump in the air for a picture. FAIL! lol. It was a fun, random, adventure.

It was a fun listening to conference on the drive and then making these cool family memories! So grateful for the gospel, for life, and for my sweet little family. So happy we get to be together forever. I am so thankful for modern day prophets and apostles. I know that this church is the true church and I feel very blessed to have been born into a wonderful family where the gospel was taught. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed for myself to know if it is true. I can genuinely say that the Lord answered my prayer and I know, for myself that this is the everlasting Gospel. Each time I hear the prophets and apostles speak I feel the comfort of the spirit confirming to me that what they are saying is right and true. I can't, and wouldn't deny what I know. I want to share this plan of happiness with people around me. I want them to feel the happiness that I feel. I have a testimony that we are all sons and daughters of God, and it is important to help one another make it back to our Heavenly Father. I feel urgency to be a better neighbor, and friend, and kind to the people I meet. I'm not going to be ashamed of the truth that I know. I want to share it with others.
