May

We've had a great month so far. We are enjoying the nice weather and staying busy. on May 5th Alex and I walked for Graduation. It made graduating feel real by actually being in our cap and gown and celebrating. It is a day I hope we will always remember, so fun to be able to walk together and see friends we went to school with.  Oh USU, our alma-mater, will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We also Celebrated our 5th year anniversary on the 12th! We headed up to Logan and Alex's mom watched  Max while we went out to dinner and a movie. It was fun to talk about everything that has gone on the past 5 years. It has been a crazy but awesome 5 years and so happy to  be able to spend it with each other. We really are best friends and I can honestly say the happiest moments and memories I have are just when we are hanging out as a family. We stayed in Logan for Mother's Day and it was such a great day. So thankful for the mother's in my life!!

Last night we walked with Jeremy and Stacy and checked out the chalk festival on Main St. in Bountiful. Pretty impressive what people can draw with chalk! Mandy and Jason (Jeremy's sister and her husband) came as well so it was fun to see them. We all went and got frozen yogurt after. Max and Conner are only about 2 months apart so they play really well together. It is cute.

Today we had a Regional Stake Conference for Davis County and it was at the Conference Center in Salt Lake. It was really awesome to go, they were all amazing talks. Two of the speakers were Jeffery R. Holland and Dieter F. Uchtdorf. They both spoke about not only being hearer's of the word but do'ers.  Hearing from the apostles is always incredible. It always makes you look at your life and see the areas where you can improve. They talked about missionary work and young men preparing to go on missions. It makes me want to be a good mom to my boys. I want to be a good example and teach them the things that can prepare them while they are young so they can be excited to serve missions. I'm so excited for our 2nd little guy to join us soon! We already feel so much love  for him and are so excited to meet him!

I'm so proud of you guys in all areas of your life.

Thanks for being such am amazing example. My little angel sister.

Those are 2 powerhouse speakers, and I bet it was amazing to listen to them. I still remember when Elder Holland showed up in our San Francisco ward one Sunday. He only spoke for about 5 minutes and I still remember what he said. Love those men.
