Yes it is December, which means Christmas is around the corner! It also means good old Beaver Mt. opens soon .. as in this Friday. The Beav always seems to be a late bloomer.. as in opener.. but never seems to let us down. only when it closes early. Even though it is a small resort when the season comes around there really is nothing like skiing (or snowboarding) the Beav. You always see people you know, ski all the runs you love, and there always is a place in your tummy for hot chocolate from the lodge at the end of the day. Maybe even a grilled cheese sandwich. If you've never experience the Beav yourself come stay with us and we'll all take a trip. we live just a few minutes from the Canyon. Max has his season pass. Now he just needs to learn how to walk. If not he'll prob spend his days in the backpack or at the grandparents. Happy Winter, Happy December, Happy Skiing. =)

I actually really miss snow living in Oregon. Its so pretty and I love to cross country ski! I am sure you will be up to the Beav plenty this year. Make sure you go down a few hills for me:)
We miss the Beav so much! I am bummed we never went up together. Today was our first day of the ski season and it was fun but definitely not Utah! Hope you guys have a great ski season and who knows we might take you up on staying with you and going to the Beav!! haha

we are heading to vail or breckonridge on monday. i will let you know how it goes. nothing will take the soft spot in my heart for the beav though. so so so many happy memories there.
