Max, today you are One.
There are so many emotions that come with you turning One. I just feel so blessed and lucky to have witnessed your first year of life. I think back to a year ago today. Thinking of all the uncertainties we had. wondering if you were going to stay with us here on this earth or if your time here was going to be short. I remember sitting in your NICU room just staring at you for hours. Hoping and praying, but also deep inside knowing, that you were going to make it. You've been so happy, so strong, and such a light in our family. You have helped your Dad and I grow closer together. There's not a day that goes by that I don't thank Heavenly Father for you. I know that you were sent here for a reason and you have been such a blessing in ways that I can't even explain. If only I could express to you how much I love you but words just can't describe it. I hope you have a great first birthday and I look forward to sharing many more birthday's with you.
