Youre-Never-Alone

Youre-Never-Alone

Before I had Max I had read a lot of books and felt like I knew what to expect and was sort of prepared to be a parent. What I have realized is that some things are easier said than done and being a parent is hard work no matter what books you read or how prepared you feel. Sometimes I feel physically spent taking care of Max and waking up in the wee hours of the morning each day. for the past month or so he hasn't wanted to take a bottle so I have just been nursing him. It has made it hard to be able to do anything on my own for longer than a few hours. Yes, it is hard, and being a parent is all very new. But I know that I am not alone and I'm thankful for my parents for raising me. They woke up in the night with me and took the time to feed me, take care of me, and help me feel loved like I am trying to do for Max. I know that even though its hard at times, there are other times when I have never felt so happy in my whole life. I truly love being a mother and know that with the Lords help I can take on each new challenge. I really like this video (the link above) and hope you do to! I love my little Max and am very thankful for him! I hope you all have had very HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Anna your such a sweet girl and I know an amazing mother! I guess I should call you a woman now even though in my eyes your still a little girl:) I know Max will have the best life if you are anything like your own mother.

Anna, I know just how you feel, and I share many of the same feelings you do. If you ever want to talk or something you should call. I will just be home with my little guy for the next little while as well and could also use a friend to talk to and consult with. Anyways, call anytime! Your the best!
