So we made it! I have been sick today with a crazy cold so I have just been lazy all day. I might as well give ya'll a little update of the past few days while I'm sitting here.
So Alex and I both finished up our finals on Monday which was pretty fortunate because usually we are the ones who have to wait until Friday of finals week to be done. Its so nice to finally be done!! So Tuesday we packed up all our things and cleaned our apartment to get ready to hit the road for DALLAS TEXAS. for those of you who don't know Alex sells security systems in the summer. His little brother Adam and his wife Megan decided to come out this summer too so we are way excited about that. We were hoping that we could drive out with them but they had later finals and some other things going on so they will probably be out here on Monday!
So we woke up Wednesday morning and were on the road about 9:00 a.m. we ended up driving all through the night because we don't have the AC in our car fixed yet and we didn't want to be stuck mid day in Texas heat. So we arrived in Dallas about 9:00 am Thursday! It was a long drive but kinda fun at the same time. We are thankful that we got here safely!!! We saw a Semi that the driver had fell asleep and he swerved off the road and rolled. it was scary.
So we got to our apartment and checked in and we were so tired. Come to find out our AC in our apartment wasn't working either so we had to get that fixed. Our microwave and our ice dispenser didn't work either! We were a little upset but they were really quick about fixing everything... BUT after the guy fixed our ice dispenser something went wrong because there were all these little bugs in our ice and Alex put some ice in a water bottle not knowing they were there. Late last night i took a few big gulps and didn't even notice cuz it was dark and took the bottle upstairs. As i was up getting ready for bed i looked in the bottle and saw all these little bugs!! I about puked because I drank them!! I was freaking out a little bit last night because i was scared i needed to go to the hospital or something. I was scared the bugs would hurt the baby or make me really sick or something but I feel fine today other than this cold so i hope that nature just takes its course and all is OK but I am still so disgusted! That memory will haunt me forever yuck yuck yuck!
Alex's first day selling was yesterday and he got one I was way proud! sometimes it takes a little bit to get back into things but he did awesome. Today has been so rainy and there is also a tornado warning so that is a little freaky but I am pretty sure they have tornado warnings a lot here. Yesterday while Alex was working I went over to Mindi's and some of the other wives out here and we watched a movie. I love these girls they are so fun!!! I'm excited about the summer it should be awesome and I'm way happy we are out here even though we've had a few little problems and I drank bug water.

I am so glad you guys made it safe and sound- well except for the bugs. Congrats Al on the big sale! Keep it up and I can't wait to see you guys someday- Anna we need updated belly pics!

i would have been so grossed out too! I hope you've got everything situated now. I'm sad you won't be home for the summer I was hoping we could all get together! One day though we all need to go on vaca or something fun! and kera's baby is so so cute! Can't imagine how cute your little one will be!
p.s. I think you can get bare minerals at serendipity. I think my little sister gets it there in logan.

Bugs in water!? Are you still alive..j.k but that is gross! Hope everything is going good and your lovin TEXAS! And I also agree lets see BELLY PICTURES!
I'm so jealous that you are in Texas again and that you're already at your summer destination.... We're headed to Alaska again for the summer and don't leave until monday, so we're still just waiting around. I'm glad you made the trip safely though.

Shane and I are in San Antonio for the summer doing the same thing! The water is pretty bad. I think we might invest in bottled water companies at the rate we go through water! Good luck to you!
