I love traditions! The Miller's have some awesome ones. One of them is.. The weekend after Thanksgiving they have a "Girls weekend" where all the girls in the family go down to SL and stay a few nights in a hotel, do some shopping during they day, get pedicures, and go to temple square and various other things that the girls feel like doing. What a good idea huh? I'm so happy to be a part of it. It was a blast!
Traditions are so much fun! I'm looking forward to the Baugh family Christmas home evening where we invite neighbors and friends and eat homemade spud nuts and root beer and anyone can share a talent. What are some traditons that your family does that you like? Its fun to hear all the great ideas!

Well this will be the first year I really get in on the Bingham traditions...We get two Christmas Mornings! Everyone sleeps over christmas night and wakes up on the 26th for "Christmas Morning"! We also just had all the girls go to the Forgotten Carols and dinner (I've done that one with them before) and I love it! And I really love the idea of your girls weekend!
The is the sweetest tradition I have ever heard of! And how fun to have megan in the family now! Lucky girls! My family doesn't have any crazy traditions. We do the 12 days of christmas to a different family every year and when I was little it was always so fun ringing the door bell and trying to get away before they came!
How exciting! Looks like fun! i want a pedicure! I love traditions! The christmas lights at temple square decorated the christmas tree..oh the joy! P.S I luff the idea about the ugly sweater party lets get together and host that!!!!
I looove the pic of you and Alex dancing! Some traditions:Going to the Nutcracker is one of my favorite, and since living in St.George: live Nativity @ Tuacahn. The best part is spending time with family..I am sooo excited!(Sister hair do's christmas eve, pajamas):)
i always enjoyed running bare foot around the house whenever we got our first snow. or, when santa and mrs. clause make us sit on their laps and sing "i fish you a hairy kiss moose"
I am particularly fond of the memory of Grace getting a little tipsy from all the Chardonnay and accidentally setting the tree a flame. or who could forget when you brought Ricco, the 35 yr old italian home for Christmas to meet our family. . .
oh the memories. I love Christmas!
grace getting tipsy now that would be a sight. Ricco was really cool i was sad that our family didn't approve
guess we were really fighting for alex. plus we thought it was kind of strange that ricco made beaded sweaters for his career.
The girls weekend looks like so much fun. What a fun idea! And I'm with Whit, an ugly sweater party would be awesome! Let me know when would be a good time to do it and we'll plan it. Love you and miss you Anna!
Awesome tradition! It looks like so much fun. I have never had a pedicure. I will have to do that sometime.
(you and Kera make me laugh)
What a great tradition!
Something my family always does is a little "performance" for our friends and family. We are all musical, so we put on a program in our home...no words, just music and food, and anyone who comes is welcome to perform. It's really fun, actually! After, we all have my mom's awesome cheese ball with crackers and other snacks.
On Christmas eve, we watch "Scrooge" and go look at the lights around town. Talking about this is making me nostalgic! I can't wait to go home for christmas!!
PS: I LOVE the picture of you and Alex dancing!!
Sounds like you guys have some fun traditions. I wish we did some fun ones like that. We all just live too far away from each other.
