new projects

Well I haven't been blogging as much cuz things are pretty busy now that we are back home and in school but its been super nice having Alex around more to hang out with!! We especially are loving the weekends.. We went camping last weekend up Logan Canyon which was probably not the best time to go because it was Labor Day weekend and everything was packed!!! but we finally found a spot up Franklin Basin. Megan and Adam came and camped out with us one of the nights which was awesome. its so nice they are finally married! They are so much fun!

What we've really loved doing lately is Mountain Biking. Al's sporting goods had that sweet bike sale so we decided to give in and its been the BEST. we ride about every day to school and we've been up Logan canyon the past two weekends. Its so much fun and challenging at the same time. Its great because we both are loving it and its fun to be able to do together. My friend Jenny from Dixie and her husband came with us this weekend and we had a lot of fun. They have been biking for awhile now so we just tried to keep up without dying.

anyway about the new projects...
Alex decided he wanted to buy my mom's old gray truck that i drove in High school, He says its his dream car!! It has ended up being handy and he has wired a light in the back of it and even put bike racks so I am beginning to think it was a good idea to buy it. we'll see when the snow comes.. it has no power steering and defiantly not all wheel drive so I am just hoping that he will be safe in it.

While he's been working on the truck I've decided to work on some projects of my own. One i spray painted my skis. not for any reason really, they are kinda old and ugly anyway and just to see what it would look like! I told Kera I would post some pictures. I also made bread for the first time on my own, in my apt, without my mom right by my side which i was pretty stoked about! honestly i really never thought i would get it down. i had to throw away my first batch of dough because i put too much flower in it but the second batch turned out good! it was a miracle.

here's some pictures of the projects

so here's the truck after he finished. if you look close you can see the light in the middle and then of coarse the bike racks. Go Alex!

Ya my first two loaves of bread! (yes i know i look really creepy in this picture)

And here are my spray painted skis. It didn't end up in too much of a disaster the stickers are covering some trouble areas.
