goodbye babies

Well for the past few weeks I have been busy chasing around two outrageous kids from nine to five o clock. Today was my last day because I am heading back to Utah on Tuesday. this morning as i drove to work i was thinking about how nice it will be to get a check today and stuff like that. But as the day went on and I knew that i may not see these cuties maybe ever again my heart got sad. So this blog really is just kind of a journal entry to help me remember the fun memories we had together. Hopefully we come to Austin next summer so i can go visit them.

Charlotte 4 years old.

*always wanted gum so i had to sneak it to her and make her promise not to swallow
* liked to talk to me about 1/4 of an inch away from my face.
* I taught her the game of UNO. Then we played for about 2 hours every day during Gavin's nap. she beat me almost every time and i wasn't even trying to let her win.
* knew "big girls don't cry" by Fergi word for word
* so smart. we'd be driving to Target and I missed the turn and i would hear her in the back of the van say.. "Miss Anna you missed the turn."
* would always take FOREVER to eat lunch because she knew it was quiet time after.


Gavin 2 years old



*always called me Nanna
* would copy everything Charlotte did
*tried to copy everything we said. i would hear him saying "No Way" while he was playing by himself.
*attached to his binkis, always one in his mouth and one or two in each hand. wouldn't take a nap without them.
* smiled so big his eyes would close
*always wanted to play hide and seek.
*loved dinosaurs and cars
*never got sick of riding his trike
*always said "oops" and then would laugh really hard at himself


a few of my favorite things we did together....
went to the park
went swimming
went on a mall walk
went to target and ate lunch after
played UNO
colored
played tag
played "hoarsie"
