Then on Thursday 4 of the wives went to Schlitterbahn, which is a water park in New Braunfels TX. It is one of the biggest water parks in the US I guess. It was made from a river! It was way fun! It was a little different and more white trash then other water parks though. I guess that should be expected when it is made from a river!
Friday we went boating with my sis-in-law Chelsea's family at Lake Travis which reminded me a lot of Lake Powell!! It was so fun to wakeboard and cliff jump and just hang out on the boat. She has such a fun family!!
Yesterday topped the week off. it was Chelsea's baby shower. It was decorated so cute with a Texas theme. All the APX wives were able to come, along with Chelsea's family and friends. We played some funny games. One where we had to guess what genes (from Chelsea or Casey) she would pick for her baby girl. One where someone had to guess different kinds of baby food! yuck. and I had to try to drink a full sippy cup in 30 seconds! I couldn't do it.. but they gave me chocolate for trying! It was tons of fun and she got some really cute gifts. I am so excited for them! and excited to have another niece. though this means Alex and I will be the only one in my family to not have any kids.... maybe in a few years?!
After the shower we celebrated Chelsey Timmerman's birthday! which is another one of the APX wives. We decided to go to Cheesecake factory mmmmm it was so good. All the wives have become really close out here this summer which will make it sad for the summer to end!
After Cheesecake factory when the guys got home, we went to "The Dark Knight" the new Batman movie. It was pretty good! Alex liked it more then I did but it was probably because I was really tired and it is a two and a half hour movie! It was kinda scary at times too.
So to say the least I have felt really spoiled this week doing all these fun things!! It was fun to pack a lot of things in because for the rest of the time I will be out here i will be Nannying Charlotte and Gavin again so I wont have much time to do stuff. I'm not complaining though because that has been how the whole summer has been for Alex!! I am so proud of him he works so hard never complains! and he's so awesome to let me have so much fun out here!!
